Blackbird Pages has added to our capabilities. It was a significant expense, but I am glad to now have added the excellent tool 'Adobe Photoshop' to the companies design tools. Attended Fuel Rochester event

Attended a great event yesterday sponsored by fuel Rochester, a Rochester Chamber of Commerce group. The event was 'Using Social Media to Grow Your Business and Build Your Career' and the keynote speaker was Lee Aase, manager of Social Media for Mayo Clinic. Great event, and look for Blackbird Pages on Twitter and Facebook soon!

Blackbird Pages is now Blackbird Pages Web Design, LLC, registered in the state of Minnesota. Also, as of this week, a member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.

Update on tools at Blackbird Pages... I have been using Visual Web Developer to this point, but now I have added Dreamweaver CS4 to my arsenal. Its a great tool!

Its not really a 'Blackbird' but couldn't resist adding this here anyway. From Belgrade, Minnesota.

I was walking downtown last week in the skyways and happened upon an artist painting one of the skyway windows. The painting was amazing, so I stopped to find out more. The artists name was Jeff Bolin. The skyway painting that is his is between the Holiday Inn and the Radison, crossing over 2nd st. The painting is a delightful depiction of frolicking frogs, so check it out...
